What's up everyone,
Here's what's going on this week along with some updates.
Field Tossing & Putting - WEDNESDAY @ 5:30 - MSU Course:
We will be doing some open field tossing and putting, and more experienced players will be available to lend advice. This will allow new players to learn proper form and for everyone to practice. There will also be a State News journalist there taking pictures who will be writing an article about the club, so please make it out if you can!
Info. Session - THURSDAY @ 7 PM - Wells A120:
If you want to learn more about the club and potentially make an impact on its future, this is an event you should be at. As many of you may be aware, we are in the process of restructuring the club this month, and will be holding elections for vacant eBoard positions at the end of October. At this meeting, we will be having a discussion about the upcoming changes and coming up with the goals for this year. Feel free to invite your friends, and please help to promote this event by inviting people to the Facebook event I will be creating!
Discraft Clinic with Mark Ellis - October 18th at 1pm - MSU Course:
On October 18th, Mark Ellis will be returning to MSU again this year to put on a clinic! For those of you that aren't familiar with him, he is a long-time Discraft pro and huge ambassador for the sport. He will be joined by local Lansing pros to give tips, demonstrate different techniques, and hand out free Discraft swag. It was a lot of fun last year, and you can see some pictures from last year's event on our website's blog!
Hope to see you all soon!
To those of you going to career fairs and midterms this week, best of luck! If you have any questions, feel free to shoot us an email.
Peace
